This pattern is a great use of the V stitch - it helps to keep your stitches a little relaxed for this one too! I found a good blocking was also important for this square, especially if you don't have a relaxed hand.

My square came out to 12" exactly! But everyone's gauge and tension level are different so be sure to measure as you go, and check your gauge. Learn how to adjust for size HERE to make sure all your squares are the same size. Remember that the 12″ is measured across and up and down – not diagonally corner to corner.
I used a Furls Odyssey hook and Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice, and my color scheme was as follows – Rnd 1: Radiant Lime; Rnd 2: Lemon; Rnd 3: Aquamarine; Rnd 4: Rose Shocking; Rnd 5 - Aqua; Rnd 6: Radiant Lime; Rnd 7: Lemon; Rnd 8: Aquamarine; Rnd 9: Rose Shocking; Rnd 10: Silver Grey.
To block this post, I used the wet blocking method and a Chetnanigans BlocksAll Ultra blocking board.

I always look for my Moogley email. I so enjoy it. I haven't made one yet, have saved all of last year's and all of this year's so far. I have been making 3 baby. Afghan's. Will start my Moogley Afghan about the end of October. Thank you for giving free patterns. May God bless you.

Hi! I know this is an older pattern...but I am working it up because I think its pretty! Most v stitches are double, chain one, double...hers says just two double for the v....is that correct?
Thanks!

Hi Kathleen! There are a few variations of the "V Stitch" so that's why it should always be defined in the pattern! 🙂 The one with a ch-1 is probably the most popular though.
