I've got an exciting new giveaway for you this week, sponsored by the Italian yarn company Adriafil! It's their make your own hat kit, the Hita Hat - and it's a lot of fun!
Adriafil sent me a lovely package, which included two different kinds of their yarns to sample, as well as a Hita Hat kit! You can see all their yarns at the site Tricotin, they are distributed in the US by Plymouth Yarn Company, and the kits are at HitaHat.com.
These yarns have me feeling inspired! I especially love the Cortina - such a great looking bulky yarn! A lovely combo of wool, acrylic, and alpaca. I hope to use it in a pattern very soon! The baby yarn is super nice too - I can't wait to play with them.
I did get to make the Hita Hat kit - and it was wonderful! You pick the colors and the style, and they ship everything you need - including the hook! There are three different collection of Hita Hat models, the “classic one”and the “junior” one, both designed for the cold season with a special soft superwash yarn made in extrafine merino wool and alpaca, and the “Fresh” one, designed with a chunky cotton and soft yarn, suitable for all seasons.
The instructions come in several languages, including English. It's UK terms, but the stitches are simple and it's easy to translate - and there are charts too! And the yarn is absolutely delicious! Soft, while still solid, and just gorgeous in the hand. I could have happily kept crocheting with it forever.
And the finished hat is great! Warm, a just right fit, and comfy cozy. I think it looks fantastic too - right on trend. Internationally fabulous! And if you're not in the mood to craft, they sell finished hats as well, "done and delivered," already crocheted by their team of experts.
So now I get to give away one of these fantastic kits to one lucky winner! Just enter below, and if you're the winner, you'll get to pick a kit out for yourself! I made the Funbox kit, but there are several styles to chose from - see them all HERE! How fantastic is it to make a hat with Italian yarn? So great!
This giveaway is open worldwide, and is sponsored by Adriafil. The giveaway ends 8/26/14 at 12:15am Central Time. The winner will receive one Hita Hat kit of their choice! Only the email address is required to enter the giveaway - all other options are for bonus entries only!
Good luck everybody! Get more Moogly goodness on Facebook, Twitter, G+, Pinterest, Tumblr, and sign up for the Newsletter so you don’t miss a thing! I received a free kit and yarns for review, but all opinions are my own and I was not otherwise compensated.

I would be in 7th heaven if I won this kit. It would be so nice to get to try crocheting with a quality yarn. When you don't know anything about a yarn, you hesitate to order it just to try it out as you can't tell the colors by the computer pictures, and also the thicknesses... yarns outside of the U.S. usually go by ply, and ordering a 3 ply or 4 ply could be a fingering yarn here while we're thinking it is a #3 or #4 weight. Anyway, thanks for this opportunity. I'll be keeping my fingers and everything else crossed that I'll be that lucky person.
Melissa
